With Enterprise MES the platform for the award-winning Digital Manufacturing System from American Tec has been provided by MES-specialist

Montabaur, July 7, 2014 –The Digital Manufacturing System (DMS) from American Tec Co., Ltd. (Hongkong) has recently been honored with the EM ASIA Innovation Award in Shanghai. DMS is used by several Chinese electronic producers to optimize processes, among other things. Technologically, DMS is based on iTAC.MES.Suite from iTAC Software AG, which is in turn built on the Java EE developing platform. With the provision of internet technologies for the producing industry the company has established its reputation worldwide. The award has confirmed the international relevance as well as the innovation power of iTAC-technologies, which are designed to suit the individual needs of the market.

The 9th EM ASIA Innovation Award was conferred at the Nepcon China 2014 in Shanghai. It honors new products, software and equipment published in 2013 and supports the development as well as the launch of innovations among Asian electronic manufacturers. Due to its excellent performance and the successful field use DMS from American Tec has received the desired award in the category “production management systems”.

DMS is based on iTAC.ARTES middleware technology from iTAC and is said to be the best manufacturing data management solution as well as enterprise integration platform. Provided by this iTAC-technology, which is marketed by American Tec as a Chinese partner but under its own label, Asian electronic producers profit from a highly efficient scalable solution. This helps to achieve targets like zero-ppm, high quality, lean production etc. Among others, this leads to high cost savings as well as efficiency advantages.
