iTAC.smart.ReceivingDevice

The recording of manufacturers’ materials information, right down to the smallest packaging unit, is the first step in a logistics process chain and therefore the basis for consistent material logistics, quality assurance and traceability. The innovative incoming goods solution iTAC.smart.ReceivingDevice assists you in ensuring a smooth process throughout your entire production, right from the start.

Smart.ReceivingDevice

The smart.ReceivingDevice of iTAC has a barcode printer and camera-based Auto ID system which can read all standard barcodes (1D codes) and 2D codes without a problem.

The material data recorded by the device can be transferred to the customer's ERP system via the standardized ERP interfaces of the iTAC.MOM.Suite. This means that goods receipts do not have to be recorded twice - once in the ERP system and additionally in the iTAC.MOM.Suite.

In conjunction with the smart.ReceivingClient that is geared to production-related data recording, the smart.ReceivingDevice represents an integral incoming goods solution.

Thanks to the AOI technology used in the iTAC.smart.ReceivingDevice, it can even read badly printed or damaged codes from the material label. An image is always saved and displayed as proof of a successful read operation.

To improve or optimize the read quality, the camera takes several images which are all used to determine the quality of the label. The device's technological features enable a longer life cycle and almost maintenance-free operation of the iTAC.smart.ReceivingDevice.
